Officially joining Love Advertising

In 2022, I quit my job to be a stay-at-home dad.

I was blessed enough to do that for nearly four years until God graced me with the opportunity to join Love Advertising as a contract Senior Designer in November 2025.

I worked full-time on a contract basis for six months until May 2026, when I finally transitioned to become a PERMANENT employee!

I am very grateful

It’s pretty amazing to find a full-time role in this job market. Not only did that happen, but I happened to land at a great place that’s a great fit. I prayed for God to help me find a suitable job, and look what happened!

God’s timing is always perfect. Sometimes it’s quick, sometimes it’s slow. For this, it took a few months. Not too long.

God used people to help me.

One of my former creative directors helped me get an interview. I didn’t get an offer, but it was amazing practice and it helped me adjust to become better at interviewing.

But the most obvious moment is when my former colleague unexpectedly reached out to me, specifically asking about my job hunt.

Long story short, he asked me if I wanted him to ask a connection to get my application noticed at Love Advertising:

Now, I’m a shy guy.

I was tempted to say, “Naw, don’t worry about it, man. I already submitted my application. If they like me, they’ll reach out. If not, then whatever happens, happens.”

But then I remembered that story about God sending a boat:

And so I said, “Sure. Why not."“

And guess what?

The next day, I received an email asking for a phone interview.

Phone interview led to an in-person interview.

Which led to an offer for a Senior Designer contract role.

Thank you God, for providing.

Being a stay-at-home dad, I was available right away to help. And Love Advertising was in a very busy season. Perhaps that worked to my advantage.

I started the following Monday.

For six months, I grinded. Did my best to help out. Tried my best to be productive, fruitful, professional, all of the above.

I’m happy to be here. I try my best to trust God, and try to discern where God wants me to be. And wherever I’m at, I’ll try my best to be faithful and to honor God by working diligently and putting forth my best effort.

And that’s what I shall continue to do, until God shows me otherwise.
